Brilliant Booklet created by Huddersfield Down Syndrome Support Group. Booklet was created with the help of photos sent in from families. Mark Travis designed this fantastic booklet. HDSSG will be including these booklets in their ‘new parent’ packs that will be distributed in the local hospitals and given to families to share. Another excellent resource website is They have been excellent in providing us with vital support. The Down Syndrome Training & Support Service is a registered charity run by and for parents and carers of children who have Down syndrome. They offer support and training for all parents and professionals working and caring for children with Down Syndrome.


Wakefield Down Syndrome Support group was formed in 2000 and is run by parents/carers of people with Down’s syndrome. The aim of the group is to provide a support network, information and fun activities for people with Down’s syndrome, their families and friends.
